The split people get wrong most often: Presentation Edit only revises decks Alfrada OS created in the same conversation. If you uploaded the file, ask for PPTX Patch — it edits the slides you name and leaves the rest of the design untouched.

Board Deck Draft

• Good for: high-level business reviews
• Best setup: upload your source notes and spreadsheets; Presentation Create builds the deck

Report To Slides

• Good for: translating long-form material into presentation form
• Best setup: upload the source report first

Patch An Uploaded Deck (Keep The Design)

• Good for: surgical edits to a finished .pptx you already have
• Best setup: upload the existing deck first; name the exact slide(s) and what must NOT change
• What a patch can do without rebuilding: replace text (including multi-line titles), edit table cells, recolor fills and outlines (status chips), update native bar/column/line/pie chart data and titles, swap a logo or a template hero photo, add a picture into a slot, move or hide a shape, duplicate / delete / reorder slides, update speaker notes, and set the file's author so it does not ship as the template vendor
• What it cannot do: invent brand-new animation sequences (existing ones stay), swap a linked (non-embedded) image, rewrite XY / scatter / bubble charts, or edit a deck Alfrada OS built in this chat — that is Presentation Edit

Design-preserving edit

I uploaded board-deck.pptx. Replace the cover image with the new logo and fix the title on slide 2, but keep the original design and don't change any other slide. Preserve the existing animations.

Update chart data in place

In q2-review.pptx, replace the revenue chart on slide 4 with these categories and series, keep the chart style and every other slide, and tell me if any label overflows.

Fill a template deck

The attached deck is our client template. Fill every placeholder for [client] — names, dates, pricing, and the hero photo — keep the master and typography, and list anything you could not fill.

Markdown To Google Slides

• Good for: decks that need to live in Google Workspace — shared in Drive, open to comments, presented from Slides
• Best setup: connect My GSlides first under Settings → Tools & Data → Data Sources; then hand Alfrada OS an outline, or let it draft one

Alfrada OS writes the deck as structured markdown and converts it straight into a themed Slides presentation in your Drive — no copy-paste step, and the result is a normal Google Slides file your team can edit.

Image Sourcing For Decks

• Good for: landing the hero image before the deck is built, instead of settling for a placeholder
• Best setup: name the subject and the style, and ask for options rather than a single image
• Example prompt:

Find three candidate hero images for slide 1 — search Google Images and Pexels Stock for [subject], or generate one with Image Lab in [style] — and show me the options.

Web results come with their sources, Pexels Stock images are royalty-free, and Image Lab generates something original when nothing found fits. Pick your favourite and Alfrada OS places it in the deck.

Narrated Deck

• Good for: decks that present themselves — async reviews, sales follow-ups, onboarding material nobody walks through live
• Best setup: build the deck with Presentation Create first, then ask for narration; pick a voice (Alfred or Ada) and a delivery style

Alfrada OS builds the deck, then voices the narration with Speech. Each clip is short — up to about 150 words — so a per-slide or per-section script works best. The MP3s land in your session files next to the deck, and the Video Editor can reuse them if you'd rather ship one narrated video than a deck plus audio files.
