Argus Heartbeat Default — GPT-5.6 Luna

Argus heartbeats now default to GPT-5.6 Luna instead of GPT-5.4 Mini, so scheduled check-ins run on a stronger everyday model without you changing settings.
What you can do
- New Argus setups use GPT-5.6 Luna as the heartbeat model out of the box
- Existing heartbeats still on the old Mini default are moved to Luna automatically
- You can still pick Auto or any other model in Argus / WhatsApp agent settings
- Heartbeat quality for market, inbox, and follow-up checks improves without raising the default to a SOTA-tier model
Where this shows up
You rely on Argus WhatsApp pings for portfolio alerts or morning check-ins. You used to get thin Mini summaries. Now the same cadence runs on Luna unless you chose a different model.
You open Argus Maker or WhatsApp agent settings. The recommended heartbeat option reads GPT-5.6 Luna.

- Change the heartbeat model in agent settings, then: "Explain what moving my heartbeat to Auto changes about cost and response quality."

Heads up
If you previously pinned heartbeat to GPT-5.4 Mini on purpose, this migration moves you to Luna. Re-select Mini in agent settings if you want the cheaper default back.
