Claude Haiku 5.5 and Nemotron 3.5 Super VL

Two new models are in the picker. Claude Haiku 5.5 is Anthropic's fastest Claude 5.5 model, on Amazon Bedrock, with EU residency and zero data retention. Nemotron 3.5 Super VL is NVIDIA's new vision-language Super, on OpenRouter, pinned to Zero Data Retention.

What you can do

• Pin Claude Haiku 5.5 from the Fast tab for high-volume extraction, classification, and subagent steps. It has a 1M context window, 128K output, adaptive thinking, and tools, at Budget 1×.
• Keep EU data inside Europe. With EU Data Residency on, Haiku 5.5 uses the eu.anthropic.claude-haiku-5-5 Bedrock profile. Otherwise it uses the global profile.
• Treat Haiku 5.5 as zero data retention. On Bedrock it allows account retention mode none. It is not one of the models that require AWS human review (those are Claude Fable 5 and Fable 5.1).
• Pin Nemotron 3.5 Super VL from Open SOTA when the work needs images, documents, or video plus tools. It is a 120B / 12B active mixture-of-experts, 256K context, reasoning on, at Budget 1×.

Where this shows up

You want a fast Claude for a pile of short extraction steps, and the account is set to EU Data Residency. Pin Claude Haiku 5.5. The request stays on the EU Bedrock profile.

You have screenshots, a PDF, and a short clip and you want a tool-using read. Pin Nemotron 3.5 Super VL. The request only goes to Zero Data Retention hosts.

You had a chat pinned to Nemotron 3 Super 120B for EU residency. It now carries on in Claude Haiku 5.5, and the request stays on the EU Bedrock profile.

Heads up

• Budget band — 1× for both.
• Neither model joins the Auto routing pool. You pin them. Community Auto still starts on Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite. Paid Auto still stays at quality 60 and above.
• Zero-retention Claude models show the EU flag. Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Sonnet 5, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 5.5 carry the blue EU label. With EU Data Residency on, Sonnet 5.5 now uses eu.anthropic.claude-sonnet-5-5 instead of being hidden. Fable 5.1 stays Global and is still the non-ZDR model.
• Haiku 4.5 stays retired. Existing pins are unchanged.
• Nemotron 3 Ultra and Nemotron 3 Super 120B are retired as of October 18. Chats pinned to Ultra carry on in DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, and chats pinned to Super 120B carry on in Claude Haiku 5.5. Nemotron 3.5 Super VL is Global only, so pick Haiku 5.5 when you need EU residency.
