Uploaded Decks And PDFs Now Patch Like The File You Sent

Upload a finished .pptx or .pdf and ask for the part that is wrong. Alfrada OS edits that file — charts, pictures, forms, stamps, a single wrong-weight letter — and hands the same design back. It does not rebuild it.

What you can do

• PowerPoint, in place. Replace text (including multi-line titles), edit a table cell, recolor fills and outlines, set font size / wrap / bold, update native bar / column / line / pie chart data and titles, swap a logo or a template hero photo, contain-fit a new picture into a slot, move or hide a shape, duplicate / delete / reorder slides, update speaker notes, and set the file author so a client deck does not ship as the template vendor.
• See the slide before guessing. Inspect describes each picture (including filled picture placeholders) and attaches a visual read of the first 10 slides so sample text is matched to the right shape.
• A check after every patch. Changed slides are rendered and read for overflow, leftover , and garbled codes such as _x000B_ (up to 60 slides; the rest are listed as unchecked). The same pass runs on touched PDF pages (up to 40).
• PDF forms and page surgery. Fill AcroForm fields, set metadata, delete / rotate / reorder / merge pages, extract a page range to a new file, stamp text or an image at a corner or at exact coordinates, watermark the pack, or strip comments.
• Small PDF text fixes. A typo, a date, or one letter whose weight looks wrong is covered at the exact glyph and restamped. That is a visual fix, not redaction — the original glyphs remain underneath. Whole-paragraph rewrites still need a conversion to Word.
• Playbooks that match the tools. The in-product "Editing & Patching Uploaded Files" playbook, the inbound deck-review playbook, and the customer playbooks for presentations, document analysis, and tool prompts now list these jobs instead of the June-era "swap a logo / fix a number" subset.

Where this shows up

You got a branded board deck back from design and the Q2 chart is last quarter's numbers. You used to rebuild the slide and lose the master. Now you upload it, paste the new series, and the chart style stays.

You were sent a 12-page application PDF. You used to retype it into a new file. Now you say "fill the name and address, watermark it Draft, leave the rest" and you get the same PDF back.

You have a client template whose hero photo lives in a picture placeholder. Inspect used to treat that as furniture. It is now a swappable picture, same as a regular photo.

Try it

• "I uploaded board-deck.pptx — put these figures into the chart on slide 4, swap the cover photo, and don't change any other slide."
• "Fill application.pdf from these notes, watermark every page 'Confidential', and return the same file."
• "In resume.pdf the H in Harvard on page 1 is the wrong weight. Fix just that letter."

Heads up

PPTX Patch still cannot author brand-new animation sequences, swap linked (non-embedded) images, or rewrite XY / scatter / bubble charts. Encrypted decks that will not open are refused. PDF Patch cannot reflow a paragraph in place; ask for a Word conversion when the rewrite is wholesale. Overlay and restamp text is Latin-1 only. If inspect reports a filled signature field, a patch invalidates that signature.

Playbooks that already live in your Agent Intuition library refresh automatically if you have not edited them. If you rewrote editing_existing_files or pres_deck_review yourself, your copy is left alone.
